In Case of Injury

If an employee incurs a work-related injury or illness, regardless of how minor, it must be immediately reported to the General Manager. You will be referred to the company clinic for treatment. Following treatment you must submit a written notice of the incident to the General Manager, when feasible before the end of the shift, but in any case by the following day.

Off-duty recreational activities sponsored by the company are not covered under this program. Additionally, use of drugs or alcohol, voluntary fighting or horseplay prior to the incident, or failure to report to employer when injury occurs and to file a claim in a timely manner could impact the receipt of benefits. Failure to timely report an incident may result in disciplinary action, up to and including discharge.
